Dr. Dozier Hood, otolaryngologist at Sinus Center of Atlanta, is an Atlanta native and graduate of The Westminster Schools. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Hood completed his surgery internship at Emory, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University. He has been in private practice since 1997 and joined Sinus Center of Atlanta in 2002. Dr. Hood is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and also board certified in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Hood is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Dozier Hood sees adult and pediatric patients for a wide range of disorders of the ear, nose and throat, with a special interest in sinus-related diseases and allergies. He is experienced in-office and OR-based surgery procedures including Balloon Sinuplasty.
Dr. Hood is married and the proud father of triplet boys.
